Most Christians believe that God created sex, but we all struggle with our sexuality in one way or another.
Intimacy Ignited is a 4-week seminar that explores the amazing design of God given sexuality that finds it’s expression in our identity, worship, relationships, and spirituality. You can expect to gain very practical insights that will deepen your relationship with God, increase intimacy with your spouse and break the strongholds of the porn-culture we live in. This seminar welcomes both men and women, no matter your relationship status.
Whether your child just came out or you have a son or daughter married to their partner, there is a place at Family Care Seminar for you. Some of you have an LGBT+ parent, spouse, sibling, grand parent or other close relative whom you care about. Anyone with an LGBT+ loved one is welcome!
While a struggle with sexual orientation may only affect some, identity and shame are topics that affect us all, gay, straight, or otherwise. Ty will be speaking on how shame effects a Christian's identity in Christ and what we can do live free from its crippling effects.
We will meet in downtown Indy and begin interceding for the LGBT community and those at the event. The times (10am - 2pm) are not hard and fast times. The parade will kickoff at 10am and typically lasts about 45 minutes - 1 hr. The rest of the time there is an outdoor area fenced off (American Legion Mall) dedicated to Pride Week festivities, food, & vendor booths. This is where we will be walking the event and praying. If you plan to go on Saturday, you can leave earlier or stay later than 2pm.
We will meet at Living Truth Church in Carmel to pray as a body of believers and gain the heart of God for the LGBT community. Ty, founder of Walls Down, will help prepare people spiritually and logistically for the Saturday event (what to expect, places to park, etc.) and answer any questions people may have.
Not everyone will be able (or want to) go downtown on Saturday and that's okay! The prayer meeting on Friday is a great way to be involved with this event even if you are hesitant about attending the pride parade.
